So... You have heard that I'm starting a new business called 5 Angles.
It is a Product and Service company that uses AI to help companies see and improve their internal business systems.

That is what I call Friction.
I bring friction to light, so that business leadership can address and recapture lost capacity ($$$) while improving production quality and throughput.

Not everyone really knows what I do.
Most people just know I’ve been in IT for a long time.
But what I’ve actually been doing… is noticing something.
Across companies, teams, and years— the same pattern keeps showing up.
Good people… doing hard work… inside systems that make things harder than they need to be.
This isn’t a people problem. It’s a system problem.
The Core Realization
Work should flow.
Like gravity… and water.
When the system is aligned, progress happens naturally.
But most organizations build friction into everything.
What I’ve learned is simple:
Most organizations don’t need more effort. They need less friction.
Because when friction is reduced…
momentum flows along the least resistant path.
